LPG cooking-gas cylinder prices are set by the oil marketing companies — IndianOil (Indane), Bharat Petroleum (Bharat Gas) and HP (HP Gas) — and revised about once a month, usually on the 1st. Two cylinders are common: the domestic 14.2 kg cylinder used by households, and the commercial 19 kg cylinder used by shops and restaurants.
